Piecat

Video Editor/content creator

About Me

I have around 4+ years of experience with editing software, both personal practice, and professional training. I have primarily used Premiere Pro in the past, but recently, I’ve been getting into DaVinci Resolve and have been using it as my main tool for several reasons.I’m a video editor who loves working with YouTubers and streamers, especially in the gaming and VTuber spaces. Over the past few years, I’ve mostly focused on short-form edits, creating fun and entertaining clips that help creators share funny moments in a way that generates traffic to their main content. While I’ve mainly worked with short-form content, I’m also open to exploring long-form editing across a variety of niches!I'm almost always looking for opportunities, so feel free to message me any questions or proposals!

Possibly Asked Questions

Q: Do you need my IRL name/location?A: As far as I'm aware, I need your legal name/location to some degree for invoicing purposes so I can bill you, It is also a means of protection as if I was scammed to do work with no pay, I would have someone to take legal action against.Q: Would you share my IRL information?A: Only for official purposes. The only reasons I'd ever share your information would be in official ways like if an accountant needed information from the invoices, or if I was suing you for not paying me or something legal like that, and I would only give necessary information.Q: How would I request to end our current contract agreement?A: All you'd need to do to end our current contract would be to email me or send me a direct message in some way stating you'd like us to end our current agreement. This must be about ending after the current editing project or projects are done, as I can't get the time back for working on the project. I then would send you a very short form to sign just to make it an official agreement between us to end our previous agreement.Q: How would I be paying you?A: I use the payment processing service known as "Stripe" to invoice you. You should get an email for the invoice when I send the invoice via "Stripe", and there should be a link to pay with a debit or credit card in the email.Q: How do I credit you?A: You would add my YouTube @ in the description of the video if posted on YouTube, stating the video was edited by me or labeling me as the editor. If posted on a site other than YouTube, you can @ me if I'm on the platform, and if I'm not, a link to my Bluesky would be appreciated as that is my main social media, as well as stating the video was edited by me, or labeling me as the editor.

Pricing

Short-form

My current rate for shorts is around $20–$25 per video.

My short-form rate is for 1 minute shorts. 3 minute ones (which YouTube now allows) would cost more per video due to the extra work.

Long-form

I have little experience with editing long-form content so don't feel comfortable setting a price. Still feel free to message me about your project though, as I may be up to doing some stuff for the experience or a price we agree upon!

My rates will increase as I gain more experience and credibility.
